Dr. Hermanson has more than 15 years of experience providing dental care to individuals of all ages. He received an undergraduate degree in biology from St. John's University and a dental degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. He has also completed Level II in post-graduate esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Hermanson was among the first nine dentists (out of 2,500 dentists) to earn the Certificate of Achievement for Continuing Education at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. A leader in contemporary dentistry, he now teaches and lectures other dentists and students enrolled in the University's continuing education program.

Because he and his staff value patient comfort, Dr. Hermanson recently became licensed in oral sedation dentistry. Community Service

Dr. Hermanson believes in helping others. He participates in several community based programs, including:

• The Smiles 4 Life program, which provides dental care for those in need.
• The Lewis House, which provides services to battered women.
• Community Action Council, which provides assistance to local individuals and families in need of food, clothing, and other products and services.

In addition, he provides school group tour of his practice to help promote good dental hygiene and to expose children to dentistry as a career option.

Family

Dr Hermanson is a native Minnesotan. He, his wife Jean, and their three children live in Lakeville, where his children attend public school.
